On behalf of my delegation, I would just like to say a few words about our new submission of a “Proposed Initial List of Environmental Goods”. Mr. Chairman, we noted at the last meeting that you encouraged Members to submit their own lists. In response to that call and in order to be in a position to participate constructively in the upcoming environmental goods negotiations, my delegation has since carried out a thorough review of the initial list that we presented as a room paper at the last meeting – and as a result we have now submitted what you might call a “new, improved version”.
