Trade barriers in Education service sector
(Based on WTO secretariat’s note)
Abstract
The education sector’s importance is well regarded. The sector widely considered as a crucial factor in promoting economic growth. Take APEC economies for instance, total expenditure on education is at least US$1600 billion annually or 6.7 per cent of GDP. The following content is base on WTO secretariat’s note, and will discuss the current situation and specific trade barriers in education sector.
