TAIWANESE COMPANIES LOOKING FOR BUSINESS STRATEGY PARTNERS AND OPPORTUNITIES IN POLAND

26 Taiwanese suppliers led by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) took part in a trade mission to Krakow, Poland from June 11-14, 2017. The purpose of this visit was to form business strategy alliances, and build a closer trade relationship between Taiwan and Poland.
A B2B meeting was held at the Qubus Hotel in Krakow. The participating Taiwanese suppliers
came from a diverse set of industries, including machinery, electronics, stationery & gifts, garment & accessories, home décor, cable, auto parts & repair tools, home appliances, bag materials, plastics, pumps, training equipments, remote control & duplicator, hand tools, glue, fabric and stainless steel coil & sheet, etc. Their objectives are not only to seek out niche markets in Poland but also to promote their high quality products, and expand into Central and Eastern European markets.
In addition, the delegation visited The Business in Malopolska Centre, to learn about Krakow’s investment environment and exchange views on trade and investment opportunities. They also called on outstanding manufacturers/distributors in Poland to enhance cooperation and build up strategic business alliances.
Ambassador Chen and Director Chen from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office also paid
an onsite visit to the B2B Meeting to encourage delegation members to keep up the good work during their stay in Krakow.
