TAIWANESE COMPANIES LOOK FOR BUSINESS STRATEGY PARTNERS AND OPPORTUNITIES IN POLAND

A Taiwan trade missionconsisting of 14 suppliers and led by Commissioner Ellis Chang of the Economic Development Department in the New Taipei City government came to visit Warsaw, Poland from September 17 to 20, 2017. The purpose of this visit was to look for business strategy alliances and build a closer trade partnership between Taiwan and Poland.
During their stay in Warsaw, they attended a B2B meeting organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) at the InterContinental Hotel in Warsaw on September 18, 2017. The participating Taiwanese suppliers were from such sectors as machinery, electronics, LED lights, home & car chargers, USB cables, smart wall sockets, locks, smart home accessories, industrial fans, etc. Their objectives were not only to seek market niches in Poland to promote their high-quality products but also to expand throughout the Central and East Europe markets. In
addition, they called on some companies that showed potential for establishing further business interaction and cooperation.
Ambassador Chen and Director Chen from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office paid an onsite visit to the B2B meeting to encourage the members of the delegation to keep up their good work during their stay in Warsaw. In addition, Ambassador Chen and Deputy President Krzysztof Senger of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency gave speeches at the opening ceremony.
