Taiwan and Malaysia celebrate the closure of the Training Program on Key Marketing Skills for Digital Trade

The first online training course on digital marketing capabilities was opportunely launched by the Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Taiwan and Malaysia in response to the structural changes of global economic and trade activities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through the effective and worthwhile course, companies comprehensively integrated AI with Big Data analysis to carry out the vital role of fostering e-commerce. SMEs from Taiwan and Malaysia highly appreciated the trendy yet free course offered by BOFT.

To enable SMEs from Taiwan and Malaysia to engage in each other's markets, a Business Opportunity Matchmaking Event was held online during the closure of the training program. For the purpose of developing New Southbound Policy markets, Taiwan's SMEs pitched their advantages regarding talents and technology in international markets to Malaysian consumers.

Facing the industrial trends in the new normal, and with an aim to assist enterprises vie for new opportunities in digital trade, the BOFT will continue to assist SMEs by focusing on digital transformation, cultivating exchanges of digital trade talents, and advancing bilateral exchanges in digital trade with NSP target countries.
