the seminar in Kaohsiung.
In 2016, Canada amended its allergen requirements. Exporting food to Canada must comply with relevant allergen labeling requirements in order to avoid being recalled.
Seminars on the Enforcement & Application of Canadian Food Allergen Labelling Regulations are organized by BOFT and Canadian Trade Office in Taipei(CTOT). The purpose of the four seminars is to help our exporters understand the Canadian food allergen labeling regulations and practical operations, reduce number of our products that do not comply with the relevant regulations of Canada, and prevent other cases from occurring so that Taiwanese products can be sold smoothly in Canada.
The seminar has been held on November 14 and 21 at 9 a.m. in CTOT. In order to facilitate the participation of industries in southern Taiwan, it has also been held on November 15 and 22 at 9 a.m. in the Kaohsiung office of TAITRA.
