Seminar on the CPTPP and Regional Economic Integration
As part of our efforts to participate in regional economic integration, which is our established policy, we intend to become a member of the CPTPP to deepen our regional linkages. With the CPTPP coming into force on December 30 this year, we are drawing close to our opportunity to accede to the Partnership.
Speaker at the seminar, Dr. Easley has research interests in contested national identities and changing levels of trust in the bilateral security relationships of Northeast Asia, which made him a valued speaker at the seminar. We were very fortunate to have him share with us his first-hand experience in related trade negotiations.
The seminar was held on November 16, 2018 at the National Taiwan University.
