Experience-sharing session with "Taiwan Expo" exhibitors

 

In order to promote our bilateral exchanges and trade relations with countries promoted under the New Southbound Policy, the BOFT has commissioned TAITRA to hold the Taiwan Expo in the Policy’s targeted countries since 2017, to demonstrate our soft and hard power in the areas of economy, trade and humanities. A total of nine Taiwan Expos have been held over the past 2 years, in which over 1,600 businesses exhibited their products and more than 500 successful cases of business cooperation were facilitated.

 

To assist Taiwanese companies learn marketing tips and seize business opportunities in the countries promoted under the New Southbound Policy, TAITRA, under commission by the Bureau of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, held an experience-sharing session with “Taiwan Expo” exhibitors in Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung on Jan.15, 16 and 17 respectively. Thirteen companies, including Shih Chen Foods Co., Ltd, Konzesys System Technology Co., Ltd, Biosol Tech Co., Ltd., Spring Pool Glass Ind. Co., Ltd., Tokuyo Biotech Co., Ltd., and Hao-Yang Environment Science Ltd. (iTrash), etc., that participated in the Taiwan Expo in 2017 and 2018 were invited to share business opportunity information and their successful experience expanding the markets targeted under the New Southbound Policy. The 2018 Expo covered exhibitions ranging from halal products, beauty products, and food, to smart cities, green energy, and health care, etc. The 3 sessions attracted domestic manufacturers totaling more than 420 participants who engaged in highly sought after exchanges at the event.
