Official launch of the International Marketing Advisory Service 2.0
To assist our SMEs and start-ups develop overseas markets, the BOFT set up an International Marketing Advisory Center in October 2016 to provide free one-on-one consultation services customized to companies’ individual needs. The Advisory Center has served nearly 1,000 domestic companies, and successfully facilitated 21 companies' expansion overseas.
To further broaden and deepen the service, the BOFT officially launched the International Marketing Advisory Service 2.0 on May 2, 2019. In addition to senior TAITRA colleagues with overseas experience serving as market experts, 11 additional experts from the industry and academia in the fields of marketing, finance, law, e-commerce, and logistics, etc. are invited as guest consultants to provide SMEs with more comprehensive services and address the common needs for overseas market expansion.
Fourteen media outlets participated in the press conference held on May 2. During the press conference, a chartering ceremony for the new guest consultants was held and various companies were invited to present their success stories. For example, Garbio was able to work with Europe's policy ban on plastics, to successfully obtain orders from Germany, France and other markets with the help of suggestions and market analysis from consultations with the advisory center. Furthermore, Free Bionics was able to screen and contact Singapore's potential medical distributors, to successfully enter Southeast Asian markets including Singapore and Malaysia with assistance from designated personnel stationed overseas.
