Bilateral trade between Taiwan and Denmark reached US$ 1.07 billion in 2025, ranking Denmark our 45th largest trading partner in the world. In 2025, Taiwan's exports to Denmark were US$ 347 million, representing an decrease of 1.71% over the previous year, making Denmark our 42nd largest export market in the world. Meanwhile, Taiwan's imports from Denmark amounted to US$ 724 million, decreasing 10.44%, and ranking Denmark our 39th largest source of imports in the world.
Investment
As of November 2025, Danish enterprises had invested a total of 174 cases in Taiwan, with a cumulative value of US$ 9.61 billion. Major investment industries were: manufacturing of machinery and equipment, wood and bamboo products, transportation and storage, wholesale and retail, information and communications, construction, scientific and technical activities. During the same period, Taiwanese domestic enterprises had engaged in 18 investment projects in Denmark, amounting to a total of US$ 429.12 million. Major investment industries were: manufacturing of electronic components, computers, electronic and optical products, petroleum and coal products, wholesale and retail.
