The Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) designated the Chinese International Economic Cooperation Association (CIECA) to hold the Taiwan-Slovenia Industrial Networking Forum as a videoconference on June 22, 2021. This meeting, attended by nearly 80 people, focused on the electrical and electronic industry, including electronic components, integrated circuits, IoT modules and semiconductors.
 
The Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) of Taiwan described Taiwan's advantages in the development of the ICT industry, and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) explained that after the pandemic occurs, various exhibitions have conducted online and Slovenian businesses are welcome to participate in online trade shows. Other companies, such as the Industrial IoT Group, Advantech, Silicon Touch Technology Inc. and AcBel Polytech Inc., gave briefings on the main services and products offered by their respective companies.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIS) of Slovenia gave an overview of the Slovenian electrical and electronic industry. This industry has benefited from such advantages as an excellent technical training system, low labor costs and other advantages, which have resulted in huge exports. Slovenia will strengthen its cooperation with Asia and other countries to further cultivate R&D and develop innovative and green energy products. The Slovenian companies Iskraemeco, d.d., Iskra, d.o.o, INEA, and d.o.o. introduced their respective corporate cultures and global deployments.

Both sides conveyed their positive expectations for future cooperation and will continue engaging in exchanges to further explore concrete business opportunities.
