2021-09-17

In order to assist SMEs in Taiwan and New Southbound countries to break the limitation brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, Bureau of Foreign Trade commissioned the Institute of Information Industry (III) to launch a program aimed at reinforcing digital marketing skills. With popular responses, more than 1,200 professionals enrolled for the program in total.

The program began in the evening on 14 September. In the opening remark, Cynthia Kiang, Director-General of BOFT,   stated that the importance of digital technology and digital trade has been emphasized by the inconvenience the COVID-19 caused. There are six courses with diverse topics to help participants get into the swing of e-commerce.

Apart from facilitating the interaction between New Southbound SMEs and Taiwanese enterprises, this program will help businesses get a full grasp on business opportunities in the post COVID-19 era, and promote the New Southbound Policy.
