On September 16, the WTO published a new information note on trade measures WTO members have adopted to expedite access to critical medical goods and services as they responsed to the COVID-19 pandemic in the first half of 2020. The report indicates that the shortages of medical products encountered around the world in the early phase of the pandemic have eased as production and trade have increased.
