Subject: Amendments to CCC6307.90.50.31-1 and CCC6307.90.50.39-3, effective May 1, 2023.

Amendments to CCC6307.90.50.31-1 import regulation code "839". CCC6307.90.50.39-3 will no longer carry import regulation code "470".

Legal Basis:

Article 20 of the Regulations Governing Import of Commodities

Supplementary Information:

1. Since the status of COVID-19 (2019 Coronavirus disease) remains stable and under control, implementation of general regulations has been eased. Importers of masks no longer need to apply for an import permit with the Bureau of Foreign Trade.

2. "Details of Amendments of Import Regulations" are enclosed.

Certificates of Origin (C/O) for Yarn of synthetic and artificial staple fibers exported to Turkey; Sunglasses exported to Argentina; and Aluminium Road Wheels exported to the EU. The provisions on the certificate of origin will be effective immediately.
