The first Smart IoT Taiwan International Exhibition was held at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center from August 21st to 23rd. During the joint opening ceremony with Plascom Taiwan on August 21st, Bureau of Foreign Trade Director General, Jen-Ni Yang, TAITRA Chairman James Huang, Deputy Mayor of Kaohsiung, Kuang-Shih Yeh among others, delivered speeches and unveiled the opening ceremony with other prominent guests.
The Smart IoT Taiwan International Exhibition, hosted by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, was the first to be held in southern Taiwan. The exhibition consisted of five core themes, including smart disaster prevention and environmental governance, smart transportation and rail, smart retail and logistics, smart medical and long-term care, and AR/VR technology. Overseas participants from Austria, Brazil, Germany, Japan, Poland, Russia, Spain, Turkey, the United States, as well as well-known domestic firms participated. Diversified and high-quality products were showcased, and nearly six thousand domestic and international buyers attended.
The Smart IoT Taiwan also held a professional forum that highlighted four major topics, including smart city governance, smart transportation and rail, smart retailing and logistics, and smart medical and long-term care. Twenty-three internationally renowned guest speakers comprised a panel that explored 5G Telecom, factory governance, overseas track projects, shopping mall analysis, disaster prevention trends, logistics innovation, and home-based IoT. The outstanding forum lectures captivated the jam-packed audience.
