The 7th Taiwan-Estonia Economic Cooperation videoconference was held on May 25, 2021 and attended by more than 90 people. The topics of focus were digital transformation, information security, and smart cities.
Taiwan's Linker Networks, Lancer Systems, Taiwan Smart Solutions Alliance and Cloud Rhema gave presentations on smart solutions that utilize AI and cloud computing in the fields of automobile design, enterprise resource planning, and smart cities.
The deputy mayor of Tartu, Estonia's second largest city, as well as representatives of EnLife, Industry 62 and Positium, shared success stories about smart city applications in the country, ways to address challenges concerning digital security and privacy, and aspects of using data analytics.
Both sides expressed their positive expectations for future cooperation and will continue engaging in exchanges to further explore concrete business opportunities.
