Taiwan-Kenya Forum explores innovative industries and e-commerce business opportunities

The Bureau of Foreign Trade, the Digital Transformation Association (DTA), and the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KNCCI) jointly held the Taiwan-Kenya Innovative Industries Forum on October 26 at the Taipei International Convention Center. The forum sought to promote economic and trade exchanges and strengthen industrial links. Industry experts from both sides spoke on the business opportunities and potential cooperation in the innovative ecosystem and e-commerce of Taiwan and Kenya.

During the Forum, Dr. Po Jen Hsiao, Vice Chairman of DTA, Mr. Pravin Eazhawa, Director of KNCCI, Dr. Shikoh Gitau, CEO of Qhala, Dr. Ping-Hang Fan, Deputy Director of TIER Div. VI and Mr. Yuan Lin, Secretary General of Taiwan E-Business Association (TeA), held panel discussions. They discussed the development of innovative industries, the trends in the digital economy, and cooperation models for both countries. The event was also simultaneously broadcast online via YouTube. About 100 people participated in onsite and online activities.
