The Taiwan Green Industry Media Day 2019
In order to increase exposure and elevate the reputation of Taiwan's green industry, the Green Trade Program Office (GTPO) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs held a "Taiwan Green Industry Media Day" on May 20, 2019, at the Taipei International Convention Center. The event invited journalists who cover green stories from Germany, Turkey, India, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia to Taiwan to participate. Four major domestic operators, namely, United Renewable Energy (green energy), Moicel (energy storage), EVERLIGHT (Energy saving) and TCI (circular economy) were invited to engage in a green industry dialogue and a combined interview.
In addition to the event, GTPO will arrange for media from the six countries to interview leading domestic businesses in solar energy, energy storage, LED lighting, electric vehicles and the circular economy. It is hoped that as these international journalists return home, the technological capacity and quality products of Taiwan’s green industry will be introduced to target markets and buyers, and thereby strengthen buyers’ impressions of Taiwan’s overall green industry and facilitate procurements.
