On May 7, 2025, Minister of Economic Affairs Jyh-Huei Kuo delivered the opening remarks at the inauguration ceremony of the Taiwan-Japan Semiconductor Technology Promotion Association. He expressed that the establishment of the Association would help strengthen industrial cooperation, enhance the resilience and security of the supply chain between Taiwan and Japan, and further expand bilateral collaboration in areas such as semiconductors, AI, and drones.
