Meanwhile, Taiwan's imports from Ireland amounted to US$ 835 million, an increase of 0.96%, and ranking Ireland our 8th largest source of imports from the EU.

As of December 2023, Ireland enterprises had invested a total of 80 cases in Taiwan, with a cumulative value of US$ 260.19 million. Major investment industries were wholesale and retail, manufacturing of electronic components and consultancy services. During the same period, Taiwanese domestic enterprises engaged in 5 investment projects in Ireland, amounting to a total of US$ 70.93 million. Major Investment industries were: manufacture of electronic parts and components and ocean transportation.
