Taiwan's export value in March 2023 was US$35.20 billion, an increase of -19.1% compared to the same month last year. Taiwan's import value in March 2023 was US$30.98 billion, an increase of -20.1% compared to the same month last year. 

In March 2023, the export value of electronic products was US$15.57 billion (44.2% of the total). It was the principal commodity export. Compared to the same month last year, mineral products, parts of electronic product and information, communication and audio-video products grew by 4.9%, -14.6% and -15.8% respectively.

In March 2023, exports to the Europe, ASEAN, Japan, U.S.A. and Mainland China & Hong Kong grew by -3.1%, -11.6%,-16.9%, -20.7% and -28.5%, respectively compared to the same month of last year.
