Matchmaking Meeting between the Czech Republic and Taiwan Brings about Opportunities in the Nanotechnology Industry

In recent years, new technologies and industries have been created by nanotechnology. Taiwan has established the ability to industrialize nanotechnology. The Czech Republic is also actively developing its nanotechnology industry, while successfully developing nanotextiles and nanofilms, which are widely used in various industrial fields.

A video matchmaking conference between the Czech Republic and Taiwan was held on the 15th of April 2021 to help our respective entrepreneurs interact and explore possible business opportunities for cooperation in the high value-added nanotechnology industry. A total of 24 buyers from Taiwan met with 7 Czech businesses in 35 one-on-one sessions.

Deputy Minister Chern-Chyi Chen of the Ministry of Economic Affairs in the R.O.C. and Deputy Minister Martina Tauberová of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic attended the video conference and delivered speeches. In addition, representatives of Taiwan and the Czech Republic dispatched abroad, government officials and industry representatives from both sides joined the online meeting. Companies from Taiwan and the Czech Republic achieved fruitful results through this meeting and more business opportunities are expected.
