On July 20, 2026, Deputy Director General Pei-Li Chen of the International Trade Administration (TITA) met with a delegation from the European Parliament (EP) led by former Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydło. Ms. Szydło is also a member of the European Democracy Shield (EUDS) committee in the EP. Both sides exchanged views on economic and trade relations between Europe and Taiwan.
