Taiwan's export value in February 2023 was US$31.05 billion, an increase of -17.1% compared to the same month last year. Taiwan's import value in February 2023 was US$28.70 billion, an increase of -9.4% compared to the same month last year.
In February 2023, the export value of electronic products was US$12.94 billion (41.7% of the total). It was the principal commodity export. Compared to the same month last year, mineral products, vehicles, aircraft, information, communication and audio-video products and chemicals grew by 13.4%, -9.0% and -14.3% respectively.
In February 2023, exports to the Japan, Europe, ASEAN, U.S.A. and Mainland China & Hong Kong grew by 1.0%, -4.8%, -11.1%, -13.7% and -30.2%, respectively compared to the same month of last year.
