The First Meeting of the Administrative Commission of the Agreement on Economic Cooperation (ECA) between the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the Government of Belize was conducted by videoconference on 19 January 2024. It was co-chaired by Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs Chern-Chyi "C.C." Chen and Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Belize Amalia Mai.
During the meeting, the two sides established a more comprehensive and interactive mechanism for the Taiwan-Belize ECA and looked forward to continuing to work closely together as mutually loyal and reliable partners on promoting bilateral economic growth and development.
