- Brazil: General requirements for product certification. SUMMARY: On 27 July 2010, Inmetro published a public consultation in order to state general requirements established for conformity assessment procedures, which use the third party certification scheme. The technical content had to be commonly observed by every new conformity assessment programme and was notified by the code G/TBT/N/BRA/397.
- Brazil: The Act establishes criteria for the program of conformity assessment for Microwave Ovens, by the certification scheme, using the Label National Energy Conservation - ENCE, according to the Brazilian Labelling Program - PBE, aiming at energy efficiency and safety.
