Pursuant to Article 5.1 of the Agreement on Import Licensing Procedures, the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu hereby notifies the Committee of a prior surveillance measure concerning certain steel products. The measure, which was announced on 10 April 2002 (See Appendix 1), was adopted on 15 April 2002 by the Board of Foreign Trade (BOFT), Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and published in the MOEA Bulletin of 21 May 2002, on page 69.
