Subject: CCC0307.81.21.00-7 “Other abalone, live, fresh or chilled, other than Haliotis diversicolor” produced in mainland China shall cease to be imported every year from October 1 to April 30 of the following year.

Legal Basis:

Article 8.2 of the “Regulations Governing Permission of Trade between the Taiwan Area and the Mainland Area”, and

Document No.1131015460 approved by the Executive Yuan on July 2, 2024.

Document No. 1130207776 dated February 29, 2024 issued by the Ministry of Agriculture.

Supplementary Information:

Importation of CCC0307.81.21.00-7 “Other abalone, live, fresh or chilled, other than Haliotis diversicolor” produced in mainland China is prohibited every year from October 1 to April 30 of the following year because it does not comply with the provisions of Article 8.1.2 of the “Regulations Governing Permission of Trade between the Taiwan Area and the Mainland Area”.

Details of amendments to the import regulations concerning CCC0307.81.21.00-7 “Other abalone, live, fresh or chilled, other than Haliotis diversicolor” produced in mainland China are attached.
