Subject: Amendments to the List of Commodities Subject to Import Restriction, effective March 22, 2023
Import regulation code “111” has been added to CCC03824.99.99.42-2 “Products, whether or not containing nicotine, intended for inhalation without combustion” and 2 other CCC codes (see the attachment).
Legal Basis:
1.Article 11.2 of the “Foreign Trade Act”
2.Article 6 of the “Regulations Governing the Import of Commodities”
Supplementary Information:
1.In accordance with Article 15.1.2 of the "Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act", imitation tobacco products or their components have been prohibited for importation in order to prevent and control hazards caused by tobacco, and thus protect people’s health. This announcement is in conjunction with the policy requirements of the aforementioned regulations; import regulation code “111” has been added to CCC03824.99.99.42-2 “Products, whether or not containing nicotine, intended for inhalation without combustion” and 2 other CCC codes.
