On Jan. 9, 2026, Economic Counselor Alex Chen of the International Trade Administration (TITA) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs met with a visiting Italian delegation of members of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate of the Republic. During their meeting, they exchanged views on bilateral economic and trade issues between Taiwan and Italy.
