On March 2, 2026, Minister Kung of the Ministry of Economic Affairs met with U.S. APEC Senior Official Casey Mace. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on APEC cooperation, collaboration on AI and the digital economy, energy cooperation, and the Taiwan–U.S. trade agreement.
