On June 11, 2025, Deputy Director General Susan Chi-Chuan HU of the International Trade Administration (TITA) attended an international seminar on “A New Landscape for Services in the Evolving AI Era” that was organized by the Taiwan Coalition of Services Industries. In her opening remarks, Deputy DG HU pointed out that while the AI revolution has brought forth dynamic opportunities for innovation in the services sector, challenges have emerged during this transition. Thus, she emphasized the need to strengthen global cooperation and the sharing of experience about the practices and policies of adopting AI, as well as the importance of investing in AI upskilling and reskilling.
